The Duck and Rice
The Duck and Rice opened its doors to Berwick Street in 2015 by world-renowned restaurateur, Alan Yau. Alan has founded many formidable restaurants including Park Chinois, Wagamama, Busabai Eathai, and won the first Michelin star for a Chinese restaurant outside of China with Hakkasan.
Having successfully worked with one of the directors on a similar project we were tasked with managing all things digital and ultimately improve data capture bookings for the venue.
First phase of the project was to tackle the website, which was an unloved single page landing area with simple links to pdf menus.
To create a modern, user friendly website that remained on brand whilst ensuring maximum SEO and data capture.

We provide a full digital strategy report that highlights the impact of on-going website maintenance, SEO updates and email campaign management. This report is presented in person at the venue so we can build foundations for the future.
Chilli Twist run all of the email campaigns for the Duck and Rice. Each campaign is built, the databases are managed and a full report is supplied to the General Manager for their monthly meetings. Open & click rates are above industry average and engagement is very high amongst subscribers.
In 2018 the site enjoys over 22% more visitors a month compared to 2017. The new website now dominates for brand terms and vital keywords which ensures bookings continue to come through on a daily basis. Enquiries for special events like Christmas are now been captured and remarketed to effectively.
In a highly competitive marketplace the Duck and Rice continues to thrive and lead the way.
