White Mountain Chalets provides luxury ski chalet holidays in St Martin de Belleville, the most authentic and charming Savoyarde village in the 3 Valleys skiing area of the French Alps.
Brief
A chance meeting between our strategy expert Trevor and the owners of White Mountain Chalets at a social event lead to a successful relationship which is now into its 3rd year. Ruth & James Downey were looking to develop their luxury ski holiday company into a thriving profitable business they could enjoy.
Problem
Target Market Reach. Whilst a brand identity and site had been created, no further action had been taken with regards it's promotion to the target market of the business. As a consequence the only business was coming through 3rd party agents and occasional repeat guests.
Strategy Management. As an owner of a small business looking to expand, many of the strategy and business management processes flowed through the over-worked owners!
Challenge
One of our primary goals was to alleviate the pressure on the business owner. Many elements flowed through one person creating a bottleneck that could be overcome with the introduction of policy, software and procedures to streamline the overall strategy and management of the business.

The Process
The business has a strong brand and a fantastic product. Our priority was to get their luxury ski chalets out in front of their target market. This started with optimising the site for search engines. It's often tempting as a business to go for a complete redesign when a site is peceived as "not working". In our experience the issue often lies behind the scenes in how the site is optimised and ready for search engines like Google to find it.
You won't appear on the first page of Google if it has no idea who you are.
Working along side this optimisation was a highly targeted paid advert campaign on both Google and Social media.
We implemented a digital cloud based CRM, ordering and payment solution in 2017/2018 to improve many time consuming tasks such as data entry, lead to sale conversion, client profiling and billing. This digital management gives back vital time to the owners, allowing them to spend more time working on the business rather than in the business.
The Result
White Mountain Chalets has grown at an incredible pace over the last 3 years. Adding a new exclusive ski-in ski-out chalet to its portfolio whilst at the same time buying their biggest competitor to become the largest independent luxury chalet provider in St Martin de Belleville.
